As per the latest update of BoxofficeIndia.com, the film saw a huge second Sunday and collected around Rs.21 crore nett which is a good 35% jump from Saturday. The total business takes the second weekend to a huge Rs.46 crore nett with strong growth over the weekend. The collections in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat were amazing over the weekend.
Maharashtra is seeing collections that have never been seen other than ‘Bahubali – The Conclusion’. Nasik is already at Rs.2.50 crore, also same cities like Solapur, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Latur etc have earned well. Pune will soon reach Rs.20 crore nett in a couple of days. The collections of Pune alone are said to be more than the all India business of Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’ over the second weekend. This will be the 19th Hindi film to cross Rs.200 crore nett and the second for Ajay Devgn.
Meanwhile, trade gurus think that next week the film might slow down as it will face competition with two big movies releasing at the box office. Films like Varun Dhawan’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’ and Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Panga’ are set to release on January 26.
