Hello and welcome to Sportstar‘s live coverage of day four of round six of the Ranji Trophy 2019-20 season.

This is Santadeep Dey, and I will be bringing you updates from separate venues across the country.

Assam vs Maharashtra: And that will be it! Maharashtra stages a brilliant comeback after a dismal first innings to thump Assam by a mammoth 218 runs. The north-eastern side has been bundled out for a mere 78. Ashay Palkar was the wrecker-in-chief taking six wickets in just 13.5 overs.

Mumbai vs Uttar Pradesh: Our correspondent Amol Karhadkar texts: Sarfaraz Khan 152* (205b, 16×4, 6×6) and captain Aditya Tare 39* (60b, 8×4) have added 52 in 15 ovs before the drinks break. With bowlers toiling on a placid pitch, it’s up to the set pair to keep going and get Mumbai closer to the magical mark of 626. 405/5

Madhya Pradesh vs Saurashtra: Harvik Desai reaches his century! With that, Saurashtra has now put up a lead of 293 runs. Will the side declare and try to bowl Madhya Pradesh out before the end of the day?

Himachal vs Baroda: The Dharamsala weather, meanwhile, continues to disappoint the fans. The relentless showers and a wet outfield have delayed proceedings again.

Delhi vs Vidarbha: Delhi requires 292 runs more to win the contest by the end of day (approximately 78 overs). It hasn’t lost a wicket yet and I can sense the match head towards a thrilling finish.

Goa vs Chandigarh: The Goa match is headed towards a draw too. It trails by 211 runs, eight wickets in hand.

Jharkhand vs Uttarakhand: Jharkhand inching towards a massive win. Opener Kumar Deobrat, batting on 83, will want to finish things off himself before leaving the ground. Only three down, the side needs 20 to win.

Assam vs Maharashtra: Assam facing an almost impossible task up ahead. With only two wickets in hand, they have 233 runs to score to win.

Mumbai vs Uttar Pradesh: Our correspondent Amol Karhadkar tweets: “Sarfaraz cuts Ankit Rajpoot to run two and celebrate his 150* (189b, 16×4, 6×6). Tare batting on 32 (54b, 5×4).
