Akshay Kumar put up a patriotic performance at the 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020 while being dressed as his character from ‘Kesari’. The 2019 action drama featured Akshay in the role of Havaldar Ishar Singh and the actor donned the same avatar turbaned avatar for his act the prestigious ceremony being held in Awesome Assam.

Apart from his ‘Kesari’ performance, Akshay also shook a leg on ‘Laal Ghagra’ from his film ‘Good Newwz’ and ‘Bala’ from ‘Housefull 4’. Akshay Kumar has been nominated in the Best Actor category for his act in ‘Kesari’. The actor was high on energy as he did the popular hook-step of ‘Bala’ and received a massive cheer from the crowd.

Apart from Akshay, 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020 also saw performance by Ranveer Singh, Kartik Aaryan and Varun Dhawan among others. Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal were the hosts for the evening. Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Taapsee Pannu were among the early ones to arrive for the event.
