And while he is busy playing Casanova, Saif is shocked with the news that he has a teenage daughter. Saif’s life changes from being an adventurous man, he goes on a totally different journey with his daughter shifting to live with him. And this sure makes for one mighty reason to watch the film.

Sara Ali Khan was to play Saif’s daughter in this film but the role eventually went to Alaya Furniturewala, who is Pooja Bedi’s daughter. She is the newest star kid on the block and her glimpse in the trailer-songs promise a star in the making. While Saif plays her father, Tabu essays the role of Alaya’s mother, speaking about sharing the frame with industry seniors Alaya has told IANS, “Initially, I was intimidated by them but they never made me feel I am their junior. Both of them are extremely motivating and inspiring. There are loving people. There’s so much to learn from them.” Alaya’s camaraderie with Saif and Tabu will be definitely worth watching.

‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ is not just an engaging father-daughter narrative but is also about a man who needs to ‘accept his age’. Speaking about the film’s entertaining plot Saif had told IANS, “This story is about a man accepting his age, his responsibilities and his journey in life.” Directed by Nitin Kakkar, ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ will explore fatherhood and also focus on the responsibilities of a parent. Behind all that comedy and spectacle, there is a dramatic storyline too.

‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ will also offer a fresh romantic chemistry featuring Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. The trailer had a short glimpse of the two interacting and it was all things entertaining. Apart from their chemistry it will also be interesting to see Saif and Tabu’s banter as a couple as they play parents to Alaya F in the film.

Saif Ali Khan’s iconic hit dance number ‘Ole Ole’ from Yeh Dillagi (1994) has been recreated for ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ and features the actor shaking a leg to the re-created tunes. Mudassar Khan has choreographed the number. “Everybody wanted me to do the signature step again, but they asked me to create a new hook step for “https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/”Ole Ole”https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/”… So I modified the hook step adding a little dab in it,” he told IANS. The party track captures Saif flirting and enjoying his time in a club. ‘Ole ole 2.0’ is crooned by Yash Narvekar and composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
