Deepika Padukone was asked if she would go back to South films and her reply will win your heart! – Times of India

Very few know that Bollywood Diva Deepika Padukone made her acting debut with Kannada film, ‘Aishwarya’. Today, she is not only one of the popular faces in Bollywood but also one of the leading actresses in the industry.
Recently, the ‘Chhapaak’ actress was asked if she would still go back to doing South films if she gets an opportunity and her reply will surely win your heart! Talking about the same, Deepika told IANS, “Of course. Language has never been a barrier. I think at the end of the day, what I look for as an actor is exciting content. In fact, there are a lot of south (film directors and writers who approached me. Eventually, I think it’s about finding the right content.”

On the work front, Deepika has her kitty full of projects which include, Kabir Khan’s ‘’83’ where she will be seen sharing screen space with husband Ranveer Singh. While Ranveer will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev, DP will be essaying the role of his wife Romi Dev on screen.

Her striking resemblance to real Romi Dev in her first look from the film was hailed by all.The movie is based on India’s historic 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. Deepika is also co-producing the movie.

Apart from this, she will also be seen in an untitled film co-starring Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She has also announced another film production ‘Mahabharat’, to be made from Draupadi’s point of view.
