Anthill Ventures, AWS announce third edition of Merge

Anthill Ventures, a global investment platform and Amazon Web Services, on Monday announced the third edition of Merge. Merge 2020, in association with HSBC India, is an event focused on fostering co-innovation and collaboration between tech startups, blue chip corporates, and global investors in the ecosystem. Anthill and Amazon’s cloud computing arm will work in tandem to identify the needs of corporate participants at the event, and curate startups specific to their business requirements.

Merge 2020 will support startups by connecting them with industry experts, including leading corporates and global investors. Interested corporates that have active investment and innovation arms in India are eligible to apply for Merge 2020.

“There has always been a technology gap between the corporates who are struggling to innovate, and startups who are struggling to scale. Merge 2020 will help bridge the gap, by co-innovating solutions and benefit both the corporates and startups. We are excited to work with AWS and HSBC for this edition of Merge 2020, and are looking forward to promote corporate innovation through collaboration and growth,” said Prasad Vanga, Founder and CEO of Anthill Ventures.

More than 30 startups across health, media and urban tech will get an opportunity to showcase their products and solutions to leading corporates such as HCG, Jubilant, AWS, and HSBC. In addition, the startups, corporates, and investors will have access to seven health tech startups from Singapore that are conducting a market study trip in India under a global innovation alliance with Anthill Ventures.

The event will be held on 22 January 2020 in Bengaluru. Interested startups, corporates, and participants willing to attend the closed-door event can register by emailing Abhishekv@anthillventures.com. The second edition of Merge in September 2017 witnessed multiple collaboration opportunities for startups with leading corporates like Accenture, Samsung, Qualcomm, PwC, Deloitte, Tata, amongst others
