B-town celebs are currently obsessing over the What’s In Your Dabba Challenge. After the Ice Bucket and Mannequin Challenge and Bottlecap challenge, here comes another Internet trend that is going viral with the B-town. It is spreading like wildfire on Twitter and Instagram with more and more Bollywood celebs joining in to complete the challenge. It all started with Twinkle Khanna and soon we know celebs including Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sonali Bendre and others responded to it.
Twinkle Khanna started this challenge where stars shared the healthy recipes from their lunch or dinner dabbas, recipes they swear by. Twinkle shared the photo of her meal in her signature comic manner. Recently, Akshay Kumar took up the challenge and shared a glimpse of his Dabba on his Instagram handle. He shared the picture of avocado toast and chia pudding. He wrote, “Thank you @twinklerkhanna for nominating me. Eating clean is not an option but a way of life for me. Here’s a glimpse at what made me spring into action this morning Sharing how you can also make my favourite avocado on toast and my chia pudding. It’s healthy, tasty, and keeps you full for hours, not to mention high in protein.”
When Katrina Kaif took the viral ‘What’s in your Dabba Challenge’ she also talked about the importance of eating healthy foodstuffs. She shared a picture of idli and three chutneys – spinach chutney, tomato and beetroot chutney and plain coconut chutney. She wrote: “My mom has always told me that healthy eating should be a way of life and not a diet so I completely agree with Akshay Kumar on this one. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in my Dabba, so this is my mid-morning snack (or as lord of the rings put it – second breakfast ). I try to eat simply and not too complex.”
Malaika Arora believes in a good and healthy diet. When she took the ‘What’s in your dabba’ challenge she shared a recipe of a quick, healthy dish. In a pan heat 2 tbsp olive oil, add 2 cloves crushed garlic, oregano, chopped red bell peppers and sauté till soft. Add the zucchini, salt to taste and sauté for a min. A few days back, ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ actress Bhumi Pednekar took the Dabba challenge and gave a sneak peek into her dabba which looks mouth-watering. Her tiffin had various things including avocado, Chicken salad and more. Sonali Bendre took up the challenge and shared her take on healthy eating. Mallika Sherawat’s vegan dabba is all enough to give you major health inspiration. She made delicious looking nachos into a healthy snack and how.
