Ajay Devgn’s ‘Tanhaji: The unsung Warrior’ continues to charm the audience at the box office. Despite multiple new releases like ‘Jawaan Jaaneman’ and ‘Malang’, this period drama continues to do good business. According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com the film has Rs 1 crore nett to its total on its fifth Friday at the box office. ‘Tanhaji: The unsung Warrior’ recorded a drop of around 25% from Thursday and around 55% from last Friday, which reportedly is a positive trend. ‘Tanhaji: The unsung Warrior’ currently stands as a box office champion with a total collection of Rs 251 crore nett.

‘Tanhaji: The unsung Warrior’ recorded a drop in collection mainly from outside Maharashtra as theatres outside the circuit are doing lesser business. The fifth week will register around 60% plus collections from Maharashtra, with the Mumbai circuit likely to cross Rs 140 crore nett mark.

The lifetime business of ‘Tanhaji: The unsung Warrior’ could well be Rs 265 crore nett mark and a gross collection of Rs 300 crore, which has been a rare feat achieved by only 11 films before this historic drama starring Ajay, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan as the leads.
